Fabrics are of different types and fall into different categories. Cloth comes in two types – natural and artificial. As the name suggests, natural substance comes from nature. Its sources are silkworm cocoons, animal coats, and various parts of a plant, i. H. seeds, leaves and stems. The category of natural substances has a long list of its kind.

Cotton – Mainly used in summer, cotton is soft and comfortable. Did you happen to know that cotton is the most breathable fabric? It absorbs moisture and is therefore breathable.

Silk – Silk is the smoothest and most preferred fabric. It is also the strongest natural fiber. One of its many properties is that it can be easily colored due to its high absorbency. Its ability to absorb moisture also makes it great for summer wear. It doesn’t wrinkle or lose its shape.

Wool – That which keeps us alive even in the severe winter, otherwise we crumble to death. Wool also absorbs and emits, making it breathable. It’s warm because it’s an insulator. It doesn’t pick up dirt easily, so you don’t have to wash it every time you wear it. It is strong and cannot be torn easily. It is also dirt and flame resistant. Wool is strongest when it’s dry.

Denim – It weighs heavily. Denim is very trendy. Denim jackets, pants and jeans are more preferred by people. It is made of tightly woven fabric and, like most fabrics, is also breathable. It lasts longer than regular cotton. Because of its thickness, denim needs to be ironed at a high temperature to get rid of all wrinkles and creases.

Velvet – You can call velvet a subdivision of fabrics because it is made directly from something but made from different fabrics such as rayon, cotton, silk to name a few. It is thick and warm and of great comfort in winter. It’s durable too. Velvet requires special care and proper handling. And remember, not all of them are machine washable. It’s better to check the instructions first.

In addition, other natural materials are leather, terry cloth, linen, corduroy, etc. If you need to source good quality fabric from reliable knitted fabric manufacturers, here is the right place, we offer different kinds of fabric in stock and production on demand.

Synthetic fabrics

The fiber of synthetic fabrics comes either directly from inorganic materials or from organic materials combined with chemicals. Its fiber comes from glass, ceramics, carbon, etc.

Nylon – Nylon is quite strong. Because it’s stretchy in nature, nylon will regain its shape while also being durable. The nylon fibers are smooth, which makes drying easier. It also weighs less than other fibers. Unlike natural fabric, it does not absorb moisture and is therefore not breathable. It causes sweat and is not good for summer.

Polyester – This synthetic fabric is also strong and stretchy. Except for microfiber, polyester cannot absorb moisture. It doesn’t wrinkle either.

Other synthetic fibers are spandex, rayon, acetate, acrylic, polar fleece, etc.
